To get to the tower, you have to pass the gentlemen where the "dead end" point is marked. You have to ask nicely, they say that you should have registered with the border police, act a bit important, ask where you are staying overnight and let you through. Oil is being extracted here and they don't want any unannounced visitors. The best thing is to stay overnight with Vera in the bread museum, she knows everything 😜
