The Blacksnake Mountain Trail begins at a small dirt pull-off on Road 3, where parking is available, and loops through a quiet valley, with Murray Brook running down the center. Be cautious of ticks. Wear long pants and shirts, and stay on the trail. There are no jaw-dropping viewpoints here, but a peaceful getaway from crowds on his trail.

The Conservation Trail is a well-marked trail with occasional interpretive signs and junction signs along the way. Expect some muddy or overgrown sections, best hiked with a navigation tool. Bring bug spray during warm months.

This section of the Finger Lakes Trail takes you through Rock City State Forest. It is a wonderful section of the trail that is in a dense forest and has several of the rock formations that Rock City State Forest is famous for.

The Pat McGee Trail is a great 12-mile long trail. The trail runs between Cattaraugus and Salamanca. It is a mix of asphalt and dirt and is popular with hikers and cyclists.

Nice view of a creek that runs next to the Beehunter Trail. The water runs right next to the trail for a short while, so it is a good place for a quick dip to cool down.

The Osgood Trail is a popular trail in Allegany State Park. It is moderately challenging as there is some elevation gain. The trail is well-marked and usually well maintained.

Red House Lake is a beautiful artificial lake in Allegany State Park. The lake is popular with fishermen as there are many species of fish in the water. It is also a popular spot for kayaking.
