This Crow River Regional Trail segment runs adjacent to County Road 17 and is especially scenic. The northern endpoint is located in the town of Delano, by the Crow River, while the southern endpoint, on Watertown Road, is just one mile from the Luce Line.

This is an excellent spot to start a walk along the shores of Buffalo Lake, heading towards the town of Buffalo, or to begin a bike ride south on a dedicated, paved trail for both pedestrians and cyclists, heading to Montrose. Bailey Point Nature Preserve is a 24.38-acre area of historic and scenic beauty, featuring over 3,300 feet of largely untouched natural shoreline at the confluence of the Mississippi and Elk Rivers.

Montissippi County Park is a lovely 170-acre park on the Mississippi River. It has a paved walking and biking path that loops through the hardwood and pine forest. There is also a beautiful picnic area overlooking the river.

The Crow River, a tributary of the Mississippi River, spans over 300 miles with three streams. A scenic trail meanders alongside, offering beautiful views of the waters along the way.

This is not the highest point in Lake Maria State Park, but because of its relative isolation, it provides one of the better views of the park.

After the creek crossing take the blue line to the right. Fewer chicanes and S curves. I rode on Race Kings and found I needed a bit more bite in the corners if my bike handling was sub par.
