For visitors to the public beach, there is also a parking lot next to the campsite area.

A beautifully designed tour through the municipality of Tinn. It includes quite a few climbs. The route can be found on a map at the Sandviken campsite. Please note: Komoot only maps parts of the route as trails. Some sections must be planned off-grid. I've published an extended version of my completed hike (including a path to the summit, which isn't actually part of the Trolltur route), where you can see where it's actually accessible.

Along the route, you can admire many small wooden trolls doing various activities. There is also a quiz for children at various stations. The troll tour itself is a circular route of around 7 km. The exact route can be found on the notice board at the Sandvik campsite.

I paid a whopping 350 NOK. For that, you get a great kitchen with seating and good equipment, as well as a washing machine and showers included.

Nice gravel path to bypass the tunnel. However, it goes uphill several times. Only for those who like climbing.
