Cycling to Iffigenfall, a beautiful waterfall near the Simmental Valley, is a must for those looking for a challenging yet rewarding hike. The route takes you through the picturesque Swiss countryside, where you’ll pass through lush forests, meadows, and charming Swiss villages. As you approach Iffigenfall, the sound of the cascading water grows louder, and you’ll be rewarded with breathtaking views of the waterfall dramatically cascading over the cliffs.

Iffigalp is a very nice hiking area, as is gravel, but MTB is better. You need good shoes for hiking. You can see some boulders from the glacial period right after the Iffigalp hut, where you can eat well. You can also see very clearly from the marks in the rocks how high the glacier once was. The Iffigsee, according to a tourist guide who does it as a hobby, said that this lake is a spring and most of the water flows underground. The lake supplies the valley with drinking water. He also said that the Simmental is where Lebkuchen is. After Napoleon, the so-called Simmerasse was bred among the cows and is now the most common breed of cow in the world. The valley was previously known for horse breeding. When Napoleon appeared, he took the horses with him for the Russian campaign in 1812.
