The Lehigh Trail is an approximately eight-mile-long bike and hiking trail on a disused railway line. For much of its length, the trail runs parallel to the Lehigh Canal. This trail offers hikers, cyclists, and inline skaters a taste of wild Florida and some of the county's best scenery. Trees surround the trail for virtually its entire length. It winds through swampy wilderness, and encounters with wildlife are always possible.

Princess Place Preserve is a 1,500 acre nature reserve. It is set between the Matanzas River and Pellicer Creek, which are lined by salt marshes. The park is popular for hiking, running, cycling and bird watching.

Washington Oaks Gardens State Park is a beautiful 20-acre park between the Matanzas River and the Atlantic. There is a wonderful garden and several trails throughout the park.

Waterfront Park Pier is a 20-acre park that has picnic pavilions, playground, and a fishing pier. The paved Saint Joe Walkway runs through the park, as well as a smaller loop trail.

Saint Joe Walkway is a great paved path that connects Palm Coast Linear Park to several other parks. It runs alongside the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway, so you get great views of the water.

Graham Swamp Preserve is a beautiful freshwater swamp forest. There are several trails that run through the park, including the Lehigh Trail. The park is home to a variety of birds and animals, including alligators!
