An easy hike along a marked trail to the summit of Mount Gariglione, at the trigonometric point. Departure is from the former Gariglione barracks.

Colle Serralta is a prominent mountain peak in the province of Catanzaro, Calabria, with an elevation of 1,248 m above sea level. It is located in the municipality of Sorbo San Basile, not far from Gimigliano and Fossato Serralta.

Crossroads in the center of the isthmus, to descend to the Tyrrhenian, Ionian or continue on the ridge of the greenhouses.

Mandatory stop at the kiosk for a brasilena (Calabrian coffee drink produced here in Monte Covello)! If you are lucky you will find several locals ready to give you advice on the mountain routes.

Monte Mancuso, in the heart of Calabria, rises majestically between the Savuto valley and the Sant'Eufemia plain, reaching 1,327 meters above sea level. This mountainous region is a natural oasis with peaks, including Monte Castelluzzo and Monte del Greco, and a dense forest of beech, chestnut and silver fir trees. It is an ideal place for walkers, cyclists and photographers, with numerous hamlets set on picturesque hillsides. A hidden gem, just 20 km from the lively Feaci Kite Surf coast.

From Girifalco, in less than 4 km but with a great ascent, you reach the Monte Covello Park, a wonderful place where silence reigns interspersed with the song of the many birds that inhabit it. In autumn, the mushrooms perfume the air and the colors of the forest become intense. It is the ideal place to regenerate.

Monte Covello represents the peak of this area and is crossed by many local cyclists who choose to reach it from its southern and northern slopes. The mountain is characterized by lush greenery, so although the panoramic view is not available, the surrounding environment is extremely beautiful and welcoming. Furthermore, the track of the "Alta Via Parchi Calabria" passes right here.
