​The Kokemäenjoki, also known as the Kokemäki River, stretches approximately 121 kilometres from its source at Lake Liekovesi in the Pirkanmaa region to its mouth at the Gulf of Bothnia near Pori in the Satakunta region.

Vammala, located in southwestern Finland's Pirkanmaa region, is renowned for its rich history, including medieval stone churches such as St. Olaf's Church in Tyrvää. Additionally, Vammala is celebrated as Finland's "City of Books," hosting an annual book fair that attracts up to 20,000 visitors each summer. ​

Okay bike path running next to a moderately busy secondary road, flat with riverside views, okay asphalt.

A picturesque church well worth a visit. You can admire the paintings inside for a small entrance fee. However, note the opening hours: the church closes quite early and is not open on Saturdays.

good alternative to the main road, not much traffic, winding with gentle rolling hills, nice views of the lake in the middle, a section of bike path in the northern end (mostly useful for schoolchildren I guess, even switches sides at one point...), okay asphalt on the roadway
