The Ill rises in the middle of the Silvretta group and is fed entirely by glacier water. At this point it rushes over a wide gravel bed and flows into the turquoise-colored Silvretta reservoir.
The narrow Klostertal brook roars down here as an impressive waterfall into the Silvretta reservoir. Especially in the early summer after the snowmelt a great nature experience.
At this point on the stream in the Bieltal you can build wonderful dams, collect stones, climb along the waterfall, take a break, enjoy the view, take photos... everyone gets their money's worth 😇🍀💦🏔
