Pleasant little garden, calm and very flowery. Ideal for a break if you visit Sallertaine and its region. Established on an old quarry, we understand that the old town of Sallertaine had been built on a limestone island in the middle of the marshes. Hence its island appearance in winter.

On the Vendée cornice, a stop at the Devil's Hole, for my part seen on a very windy day with rough seas. It is worth the detour when the sea rushes into the hole.

Classified as a Grand Ensemble Naturel and in the running for the Grand Site de France label, the Payré Estuary is an exceptional place that is home to the magnificent Veillon beach. You must take the marked paths that cross the forest in order to preserve the dunes. A very pleasant walk out of season.
