The bascule bridge, built in 1885, is an interesting and impressive historical structure. 😄

Not only in summer, but today, March 2nd at 10 PM with a temperature of 13 degrees Celsius, there's already a lot going on, with well-attended restaurants both indoors and outdoors. 😄

The Château d’Eau de Montmartre (Montmartre Water Tower) is a striking engineering structure in the 18th arrondissement of Paris, located next to the Sacré-Cœur Basilica in Square Claude Charpentier. At the rear of the tower (facing the hillside) is the Fontaine du Château d'Eau, a temple-like structure with a fountain and a bronze urn, a popular spot for a short break away from the tourist crowds.

A very beautiful spot on earth can be found here to linger and relax. Around 262 steps lead up to Montmartre. Once you get to the top it is simply beautiful. A visit to the Basilique du arcr'e Coer is recommended 👍. From up here you have a wonderful view of Paris 🙂. The Montmartre Funicular is an inclined elevator with two cabins that has been comfortably transporting tourists and Parisians from the foot of the hill to the Sacré-Cœur Basilica since 1900, avoiding the 262 steps. The funicular is operated by the Paris Transport Authority (RATP), operates daily, and is accessible with a valid metro ticket. Function: It is a super-convenient way to reach the top of Montmartre Hill. The journey over the 108-meter-long track takes only about a minute and a half. The ride is free with a valid Paris metro ticket. The funicular opened in 1900 and has undergone three modernizations since then, including the conversion to electric propulsion and the installation of modern cabins in the 1990s. Those who are sporty and want to enjoy the view can climb Montmartre on foot. A visit is worthwhile.

Great street to the Sacré-Cœur hustle and bustle and the Montmartre alleys, still relatively quiet, but around the corner it looks different ;)
