When cycling along the Leicester Road (A426) Cycle Path, be aware that some sections may have concrete segregators separating the cycle lane from vehicular traffic. Newbold on Avon is a pretty suburb situated along the banks of the Oxford Canal in Rugby, Warwickshire. Newbold has two great pubs, The Boat and Barley Mow, which are a great place to stop for a refuel mid-walk.

Brinklow Castle is a medieval fortress that dates back to the 12th century. The ruins stand atop a hill, providing panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.

The only underpass far and wide, here you can get to the other side of the bank. Separate for pedestrians and cyclists.
