The Church of St Michael was built through the 12th and 13th centuries. Its west tower was added in 1725 and the entire church underwent restoration in 1755. The Grade II-listed church boasts 18th century stained glass as well as some interesting monuments inside.

Large farm shop full of the best local produce with everything from fruit and veg to meats and confectionary. They even have a large selection of the famous Marshfield Icecream. The cafe is large but often packed as it forms a popular stop for locals and visitors alike. A range of local seasonal dishes are served throughout the day with a regularly changing menu supplemented by daily specials and freshly baked cakes. The service is quick and friendly. Walkers are welcome as are cyclists with a yard dedicated to secure bike parking. It is the perfect stop just outside of Chippenam surrounded by the local countryside.
