This beautiful carved seat commemorates a local teacher - Mary Fitter

The Vault Ledger This stone came from the floor of the chancel of Baddesley Clinton church, where it covered the Ferrers family vault. 12 generations of Ferrers are buried there, from Sir Edward Ferrers who died in 1535 and was the first member of the family to live at Baddesley Clinton, to the Edward Ferrers who died in 1830, father of Marmion Edward Ferrers, the last direct lineal descendant of Sir Edward to hold Baddesley. A replica was placed in the church in 1967, as this original stone was becoming worn.

Nice place with a beautiful Garden good to walk from Baddesley to Packwood

Good cask ales, great beer garden with some heating.

A small but worth a visit NT place, incorporate Packwood house as well for a full day out.

One of 2 National Trusts here, we usually park at one and do a circular walk via the other (Packwood House)

Theres a lot of space here for a picnic during the summer months, I imagine you wont be the only ones fighting the geese off though

A truly unique place, all the usual bits and bobs at a NT place, but this resembles a castle rather than a house with its own moat fully encompassing it.
