Galley Hill rises to 186m here and provides you with lovely views of the other hills (including Warden Hill to the south of here), the countryside below, and the city of Luton with all of its suburbs.

Church of St Margaret is a Grade I listed building. It is over 1,000 years old, founded in 1145. The present building has its beginnings in the 14th and 15th centuries. As in many such places, though, different parts of the church remain from different times. For instance, the font is from mid-13th century, the west tower is from the 14th century, and the chancel was rebuilt in the late 19th century. It's a beautiful old church, and the churchyard is quite pretty to sit in as well. Much recommended!

From Warden Hill, you get fantastic views over Luton

Awesome forest trail leading away from Barton Road with some steps. Opens up into fields further south with lots of signs, so easy to navigate around.

From Warden Hill you get fantastic views over Luton. The hill is located within the Galley and Warden Hills Nature Reserve, a chalk downland that supports many varieties of wild flowers and rare insects, including over 20 species of butterflies.
