The ponds here are popular with anglers and make for a calm and peaceful running spot. The wetlands run all along the west side of Puttenham Common.

Puttenham Common is full of variety with woodlands, heathland and wetlands all adding to its diversity. It is a great place for running as it largely holds up well, even in the wet. From the highest points there are brilliant views to the south of the Devil's Punchbowl, another great place for running.
