The Eden Valley Walk follows the banks of the River Eden and the River Medway through peaceful countryside in the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

The historic town of Edenbridge has plenty to catch your eye as you pedal through. A colourful high street, medieval buildings and the Church of St Peter and St Paul. Take a careful look at the church clock, it only has one arm. The town can trace its history back to Roman times when it sat on the Roman Road between London and Lewes.

Great swimming place great fore proper swimming too

The swimming spot isn’t actually here below the bridge if you want to go to it follow the bike touring highlight on the map and follow that. Plus it’s a great place to go it’s amazing and worth a detour. The field is easily cycleable as it’s short and very wide

Set in the middle of a field, it looks to be an abandoned Cold War bunker with 2 air vents

The church is originally from the 11th Century but has been rebuilt multiple times over different centuries. Late 11th century nave with early 13th century south aisle. Chancel and south chapel of late 13th century. South aisle rebuilt in the early 14th century, when a tower was added on the west. The whole church rebuilt and re-roofed in the later 15th century

Although very over grown Devil's Den is a Scheduled Monument and is also thought to have been held by Gilbert de Clare, Earl of Gloucester (who married Joan of Acre). It may not look like much walking by, but it is very impressive up close and seeing the island inside the moat. If you don't mind walking through the brambles on the edge, you can make it onto the island through the southwest corner.
