Cheriton is a stunning Hampshire village. It houses a beautiful old church and Cheriton Post Office and Stores, which is a great place to stop and restock refreshments.

The wood was gifted to the Woodland Trust in 1996. It is a small level and almost rectangular site extending north to south alongside the road with pasture to the east. It is valued by locals for its role in conservation as the locality has lost many of its trees over the last century and little woodland remains. It therefore forms an integral part of the village landscape. There is a circular footpath following inside the site's perimeter linking its three access points.

Fresh water tap - an essential resource for South Downs Way walkers and cyclists. Tap tested and working in May 2022.

Beautiful views over the valley and impressive gardens. It is a National Trust house so there is an entry fee. Worth a visit.

All Saints was founded in Saxon times. However, the church you see today was built in the 13th century and heavily restored in the 19th century. All Saints is situated within pleasant scenery close to Hinton Ampner House. The church is Grade II-listed.

Hinton Ampner House is a Grade II-listed stately home with stunning gardens. The country house was built in 1790, remodelled in 1867, and then rebuilt by its last owner, Ralph Dutton, after a fire in 1960. The property is now owned by the National Trust. St Michael’s is a Grade I-listed church in pleasant surroundings on the outskirts of Cheriton village. The church was built in the 13th century but was repaired significantly after a fire in 1744. Next to the door is a 13th-century trefoiled piscina. Rare 14th-century Flemish tiles survive under the altar.
