Can't really visit the pier itself with your bike and wearing road cleats but the driveway approach is quite a spectacle in itself.

Pier of the year 2020 - why wouldn’t you visit? Open early until late all year round, a great spot for refilling water bottles and a quick ice cream break.

This walk is wheelchair and pushchair friendly. Nice pleasant walk for children with plenty of toilets along the route. Safe dirt road runs parallel for those on bikes. Finishes with a small sand beach beside a cafe with a limited menu. Plenty of picnic spots

Great spot for lunch or a cup of coffee and they're dog friendly so bring your loyal companion with you.

Make sure to come here at low tide with a bit of twilight, then the coloured sheds along the beachline are beautiful for photos. For the rest a not too special beach.

Maybe it's nothing special but good place to do some mileage.
