The ruins show just how large this place was in its heyday. The small remaining part now forms a fairly large parish church.

Nice spot to stop for a snack and a rest but plenty to learn too, if you find time to read the information boards.

Binham Priory is a ruined Benedictine priory that was founded in the late 11th Century. The nave of the priory church has become the Church of St. Mary and is still in use today. It's an incredibly peaceful place to take a break in the North Norfolk Coast AONB.

Enjoy terrific views of Cley and its impressive 19th century windmill as you make your way along this flat and compact pathway through the marshes.

Holt is a charming market town located in North Norfolk. Its Georgian buildings make it one of the most attractive towns in Norfolk, and there is a wealth of things to do and see. You can check out some of the many antique shops, art galleries, bookshops, and places to eat and drink.

Letheringsett Mill is a working mill located on the Norfolk Coast near Holt. It is the only flour-producing watermill remaining in Norfolk. The mill is open monday to friday between 10am until 3pm and Saturdays 9am-1pm. The mill hosts an antique shop and tearooms, where you can purchase hot and cold drinks, cakes, and flour to take home.

Binham is a gorgeous little village located along the Norflk Coast and within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Perhaps Binham's most impressive trademark is that it's home to Binham Priory, one of the finest example of a monastic ruin in Britain.

Binham Priory is a masterpiece in terms of monastic ruins and is located in its complete form along the stunning Norfolk Coast. The priory is steeped in rich history, having been founded in 1091 and being home to a Benedictine community of monks for 400 years. Binham Priory is among the most complete and impressive monastic ruins in Norfolk. This Benedictine priory was founded in 1091 by Peter des Valoines, a nephew of William the Conqueror. Many of its priors were unscrupulous and the history of the priory is one of almost continuous scandal. The nave of the priory church, with its splendid 13th century west front and fine tiers of Norman arches, is now the parish church, and displays the former rood screen with medieval saints overpainted with Protestant texts. Well worth a look round, ideal spot for parking for a ride, we left a donation as a thank you.

There are beautiful tracks through the Summer House Hill Plantation. A permissive bridleway passes through it which is open to the public.

The River Glaven meanders through grazing meadow here on its way past Glandford and out to sea at Blakeney Point. It is a lovely calm place for hiking.
