One of the great wonders of geology that houses an unusual diversity of speleothems characterized by their beauty and abundance. In addition, the cave preserves an exceptional heritage of industrial archeology derived from the exploitation of zinc and lead that, from the mid-19th century to the end of the 1970s, was active in the Sierra de Arnero. A tourist visit lasts one hour but there is also the option of doing a 2.5 km route where you can feel like a speleologist for a day exploring the cave galleries in their natural state.

The Ojo de la Fuentona is the source of the homonymous river in the town of Ruente, a very quiet and picturesque place surrounded by a very peculiar legend. Given its intermittency, the river sometimes dries up completely and in the past it was said that an anjana (good witch) lived in the Eye who used to have some whim and could make the water stop emanating there.

The Ruente shrine is one of the most interesting in the region as it is located on the corner and attached to another building. The shrine is closed with a metal fence, inside there is a large wooden cross, in it there are scenes of the passion, a crucified Christ, the Virgin and Saint John, Saint Francis saving the Souls of Purgatory, Veronica and a skull on two crossbones.
