Högberget is a particularly panoramic part of the Sipoonkorpi National Park. You can ascend above the trees to its rocky apex and survey the surrounding landscape. The paths here make for great trail runs, with quite a few undulations but nothing too challenging.

Very nice route walked of about 5 km. (The white/green signs) route goes over rocks and tree stumps and therefore not suitable for someone who is not very mobile. Along the way you will come across a picnic spot. Enjoy this beautiful route!

The loop trail and connecting trails from the Bakunkärr and Korvenportti parking areas are marked with orange markings. The Fiskträsk Trail includes sections of forest trail, wide gravel path, duckboards and trail bridges. You can start the trail either from Korvenportti or Bakunkärr. The length of the entire trail (connecting trail, loop trail and offshoot to the shore of Fiskträsk Lake) is 4.7 km. Trails are not maintained in winter. But you will find your way easyily thanks to the trail marks and using Komoot. Nevertheless myself always have a printed map, a compass and emergency equipment (pocket pharmacy, emergency blanket, lighter, blanket, headlamp, a candle) with me when walking trough the Finnish forrest.

This spacious barbecue area is the perfect spot to take a break while hiking in Sipoonkorpi National Park. It features a covered barbecue area, an open-air grill on a rocky outcrop, plenty of picnic tables, and a shed stocked with firewood. A toilet is also available.

From the parking lot and starting point of the Bakunkärr Trail, you’ll reach this picturesque picnic table in just a few minutes. The forest is interspersed with large rock formations, allowing you to enjoy your snack in the sunshine on a nice day.

There are picnic tables, public toilets and shelters, as well as a designated camping area, making Fiskträsk lake the perfect stop off for those exploring the region. The nearby Fiskträsk Trail is a super 3-mile (4.7 km) loop through the forest on gravel, trail bridges and duckboards.
