The wetland in Holløse Bredning is a nature conservation project. The project was launched in September 1999.

Between Liseleje and Tisvilde lies this beautiful section of heathland, in close distance to lonely beaches.

One of the highest hills in the forest Tisvilde Hegn.

Tibirke church was probably built between 1120-30 as a small Romanesque church. Towards the end of the 14th century, the church was extended with the western part and the original flat beamed ceiling was replaced by a vaulted ceiling. At the same time, the original small windows were replaced with larger ones in Gothic style. In the middle of the 15th century, the original choir was replaced by a wider one. The tower dates from the first half of the 16th century. The church chairs are from 1550-1575.

Founded around 1100 as a monastery and owned by the Bischoff Absalon. In 1560, the castle, which was converted into a former monastery, became the property of the Danish king. Through the sand escape also fell the castle. The ruin was excavated again in 1849.
