The Humbeek-Sas lift bridge is a classic metal lift bridge that spans the Brussels–Scheldt Sea Canal in Humbeek, a sub-municipality of Grimbergen. Built in 1968, it is one of three identical lift bridges on the canal, along with: Brielen Bridge (Tisselt) Verbrande Bridge (Grimbergen) All three share the same dimensions: 38.4 m long and 11.6 m wide.

Here along the Brussels-Scheldt Sea Canal you can quietly walk and cycle in a green environment. Immediately next to you is the 's Gravenbos and on the other side of the canal is the Bos van AA.

The Graven or Lunden Castle is a water castle, implanted in a large tree-rich park with an old avenue pattern, adjacent to the Gravenbos to the north. The general volume and some constructions still closely resemble the 17th century condition. The modified bridge over the ring moat and the Baroque gate provide access to a walled main square. The castle is a tall and complex building, marked by a turret and a roof turret. The whole underwent a general neo-medieval modification in the mid-19th century, during which many neo-Gothic elements were added. A beautiful gate gives access to a vegetable garden with greenhouses, greenhouses and a fruit wall with espaliered trees. To the left of the gatehouse is the former caretaker's house with a core from the 17th century. The square pleasure house is accessible via a wooden footbridge over the ring canal. To the west are the former orangery and a horse race from the 19th century. South of the castle is a beautiful castle farm with a horse breeding farm, also from the 19th century. The indicated place does not correspond to the location of the Verbande Bridge. This is the Hefbrug Humbeek Sas. It is a lift bridge over the Brussels-Scheldt Sea Canal in Humbeek, a sub-municipality of Grimbergen. The bridge was built in 1968 and has a metal movable part with a length of 38.4 m and a width of 11.6 m. The bridge is identical in dimensions to the Brielenbrug in Tisselt (Willebroek) and the Verbrande Brug in Grimbergen which were built in the same year. (Wikipedia)
