Graben junction to Gusborn

The Dannenberger Landgraben is a medium-sized ditch that runs from Dannenberg to Laase. Between Splietau and Gusborn there is a dirt road that runs directly along the Dannenberger Landgraben.

Siemens is a district of the municipality of Gusborn and has 120 inhabitants.

Here you can hike, jog or cycle along well.

A pretty little village pond where you can usually see a few ducks. At the edge of the pond there is a bench that you can use for a break during a bike ride or hike, but on which you unfortunately sit facing the village street and not the pond.

The Kolborn Chapel is a pretty, small half-timbered chapel and a great photo opportunity. The first chapel was built or donated here in 1474 by the Knesebeck family. The construction of today's chapel began in 1616, but was apparently not completed until years later (unfortunately I couldn't find more precise data for this). In the 30 Years War (1618 to 1648) the chapel was probably badly damaged and later repaired. The chapel bell (from 1677) used to be attached to the west gable of the chapel, now it hangs in a free-standing wooden bell carrier that stands in front of the chapel.
