This huge, green sculpture, "The Walking Man," was a special highlight for me.

Similar to the Börniger Plague Cross from 1637, which is almost within sight, a linden tree was planted next to the stone. According to the information plaque, this similarity is intentional.

Right at the entrance to the Teutoburgia Art Forest, the twelve-meter-high steel sculpture by the artist Monika Günther is striking. The figure with human features is called "Pedestrian" and shows people and their brash carelessness and broken relationship with nature. The steel body is covered with a trellis in the form of a wire mesh; over time, it is intended to transform into a quasi-organic figure made of ivy and wild vine.

Many paths through the artificial forest actually lead through dense forest and are narrow. Rainwater will dry out slowly there

Impressive and a very beautiful park.

The Teutoburgia art garden is a little old. The man covered in vegetation is beautiful to look at and the image of the Teutoburgia winding tower is reflected in the pavement. However, this is hardly visible anymore because much of it is overgrown. The Teutoburgia housing estate is very beautiful, however, with its many pretty and differently designed houses. The entire complex is very well maintained.

Why should this be a highlight for me as a hiker?
