The baroque church dedicated to St. Stephen was built according to plans by Joseph Dossenberger the Younger. The substructure of the tower still comes from the previous Gothic building. The nave is adjoined by an almost equally wide, wicker-arched chancel. The tower with a French dome stands on the north wall, on which a magnificent pulpit is attached. Anyone planning tours along the Günz should plan a break here at the reservoir and enjoy nature. You won't miss out on culinary delights either, and you can stop off at Gasthof Adler in Oberwiesenbach (opening times inform in advance).

Since 1989, the Oberegger reservoir and the direct Uferumfeld nature reserve. The "Vogelfreistätte Oberegger Reservoir" measures 42 hectares and is a nationally significant resting and breeding ground for waterfowl, which often overwinter here.
