Very nice rest area with a bench right on the lakeshore…

We had booked the hotel through a large booking platform. When we arrived, the hotel manager demanded an additional fee of 10 euros for the safe storage of the two bicycles, which was not mentioned in the hotel description and is completely unusual anyway. When we asked him about it, he told us that he did not want to discuss it. He explained to us that he no longer wanted us as guests. And that after a long bike tour and hardly any alternatives on site. Of course, every hotel can charge whatever fees it wants, but these must be announced in advance so that guests can make a well-informed decision. I can only warn all cyclists about this scam.

Beware cyclists: The hotel charges extra for storing bicycles, although there is no mention of this in the hotel description (as of July 24). If you raise this matter objectively, you may be kicked out (like us) despite having booked.

Perfect stop for a break, they serve delicious pizza (and other things) here. Very friendly hotel and restaurant, but you can also stop in wearing cycling clothes without worrying (not too chic). When the weather is good, there is also a large terrace...
