The boat rental at Toeppersee offers a wonderful opportunity to enjoy nature and spend relaxing hours on the water. You can rent a variety of boats there, including pedal boats, rowboats, and electric boats. Prices start at €9 for a 30-minute rowboat. The boat rental will be open again from April 1, 2025, and there are even romantic evening trips starting at 8 p.m. The boat dock is lovingly decorated for special occasions such as marriage proposals. The largest lake in Rumeln-Kaldenhausen, the Töppersee (with an area of 0.54 km² and a maximum depth of 10.7 m) and the Tegge (small lake), are separated by a path. Formerly a gravel pit, today a local recreation area, it invites young and old to go for walks, jog and enjoy other outdoor activities. The local recreation area is also known for the waterski facility on the Tegge.
