The Muggesfelde estate from 1725 is now privately owned by Dr. Arendt Oetker (THE Dr. Oetker). The gatehouse is clearly visible from the street. Unauthorized persons are not allowed to enter the estate behind it. A 🅿️ can be found 350 m further west.

The Muggesfelder Moor borders the Tarbeker Moor to the west. Both moors were used for peat extraction. Cranes now live in both rewetted moors, some of them all year round.
