In the heart of Mölln's historic center stands the former town hall pharmacy, a building steeped in tradition that shaped the city's medical care for centuries. As a city-privileged pharmacy, it was not only a place for preparing medicines but also a social hub where news was exchanged and civic life unfolded. The facade, with its Baroque and Neoclassical elements, reflects the city's prosperity and self-confidence during that era. The building gains particular significance through a prominent guest: Samuel Hahnemann, the founder of homeopathy, lived and worked in Mölln for several months in 1812. During his stay, he used the town hall pharmacy as an important reference point for his medical studies and observations.
