There is an observation tower located on Haralanharju Ridge, offering magnificent views. A summer café operates inside the tower. In the tower’s yard, there is also a stage where live music and theatre performances can be enjoyed during the summer. The observation tower is accessible by car. The yard area around the tower has many roots and uneven ground, so it is not fully accessible. Cafe open at 2025 july : tue-sun: 12-17

The Haralanharju Observation Tower in Kangasala, Finland, offers stunning panoramic views of Lake Vesijärvi and the surrounding Finnish Lakeland. This iconic tower, which inspired author Sakari Topelius's famous poem "Kesäpäivä Kangasalla," is perched on a drumlin and provides a magnificent bird's-eye perspective of the region's natural beauty. The current tower, rebuilt in 2009 after two previous structures were destroyed, is open year-round and features a summer café and performance stage.
