A memorial stone reminds us that there was a manor here in the 17th century. This farm was first mentioned in written sources in 1360. At that time the farm was still very far to the west. Next to the old Nystrup manor, the Nebel farm was one of the largest and richest in the area. Due to the sand drift, the farm was moved inland several times. Around 1900, a large part of the land was sold to the Danish state. He laid out more dune plantings here. The remains of the Nebel estate can be found today in the village of Nebelhus.
