The flat rocks at the southern end of Stora Stentjärnen are perfect for sunbathing or a refreshing dip in the water.

The natural trail passes here beside a quaint pond and creates a picturesque ambiance.

Barbecue and picnic area in the Vättlefjäll nature reserve, located right by the lake. The seating areas offer a great view of the water.

Lake Surtesjön forms a long bay here. A path runs along the shore with views of the water, and there is also a jetty. Very idyllic!

Several hiking trails cross here. No matter where you go, there are fantastic views of the lakes everywhere.

A beautiful hiking trail takes you along the lake shore and through sparse coniferous forests.

A good point overlooking the dark waters of Svartvattnet. From here, you get a beautiful panorama of the lake surrounded by forest. A peaceful spot to pause and take in the scenery before heading back down to the trail.

A beautiful section of trail right along the shore of Surtesjön. Narrow paths wind through the forest with lovely views over the lake – calm, green, and perfect for a short break or an easy hike or run close to the water.

A few steps off the path will take you to a lovely swimming spot. In summer, it's just the right place to cool off for a while.

You’ll cross several wooden walkways along the way. They keep your feet dry and make the forest trail especially varied and fun to walk.

A truly idyllic trail. You walk through the forest on wooden footbridges and cross a picturesque little stream.

Here, you can walk along a beautiful wooden footbridge directly above the water and enjoy a beautiful view of Lake Surtesjön.
