Hotel Fex, Val Fex A mountain hotel with grandeur: Hotel Fex is a jewel from the early days of alpine tourism. Built in the 1850s, it originally stood in the spa complex of St. Moritz Bad. Around 1900, it was dismantled and transported to Val Fex by horse-drawn carts. After 60 years in the same family, it was acquired in May 2010 by Dr. Marc and Lotte Bär-Schilder. There's a wooden viewing platform and an information sign about lichens. Behind the platform, you'll find some cairns.

A seven-kilometer-long trail along the Roseg stream leads up to the breathtaking glacier panorama at the Hotel Roseg Glacier. Winter guests don't have to miss out on this either: during the cold season, a classic cross-country ski trail is groomed all the way to the hotel, and sometimes even to the glacier. A gigantic landslide on the almost 4,000-meter-high Piz Scerscen in the spring of 2024 demonstrated the immense forces at work in this mountain world. The path along the lake is beautifully laid out. You always have a beautiful view of the lake. It is particularly beautiful when there is no wind and the mountains are reflected in it.
