The church stands in an isolated and dominant place in Rizzolaga. There is certain news that even before 1697 there was a chapel dedicated to St. Anthony of Padua, equipped with a mobile altar, some objects and ornaments. Built with the offerings of the local population who felt the need to have their own place of worship. It was then rebuilt between 1780 and 1785 at the expense of the hamlet of Rizzolaga and finally blessed! The demographic increase of the early 1900s made this church insufficient for the needs of the population and a new, more accessible building was thought of. The war events blocked everything, but then, in 1954, the works began and were concluded in 1956. Thus the old church was "abandoned" in favor of the new one. Now Rizzolaga has two churches, a new one and an old one. Both dedicated to St. Anthony of Padua. This ancient church has a wonderful history due to the stubbornness of its inhabitants who fought so hard to have their own church.

Rizzolaga is a hamlet in the municipality of Baselga di Pinè, located in a dominant position between the two lakes. In the upper part of the village there are two churches, characteristic entrance halls and this original house from which pleasant and panoramic paths pass halfway up the hill overlooking the Serraia lake.
