At this point there is a nice place to take a break on the shore, as you can sit comfortably on the rocks and have a beautiful view over the lake.

Large parking lot at the lake. Access to the lake and the circular hiking trail is free.

Here a (somewhat dilapidated) wooden footbridge leads over the muddy lake shore

Internal view It is a classic "senzillas tower" located on the road between the other gates of Porto Ferro[1]. Erected in the 16th century, it is made of a compost heap of calcareous rock and calcareous malt; it is about 6 meters tall, has a diameter at the base of about 12 meters and remains intact on the inside of the interior[2]; the only entrance door is a 1.5-3 meter high post entrance from where you can access the interior, delimited by a volta on the dome with a central view and surrounded by various niches and holidays.

The Torre di Airadu (or Torre Radu, Torre Bianca or Torre di Mezzo) is a tower in the bay of Porto Ferro (Sassari); when they joined the Torre Negra and the Torre di Bantine Sale, it was one of the three towers that dominated this coast and protected the island from Saracen incursions during the reign of Filippo II.

Porto Ferro Beach, with its pine forest and Spanish towers, is a jewel not to be missed.

From this point you can enjoy a beautiful view of the inlets surrounded by vegetation of Lake Baratz, the only natural lake in Sardinia.
