A charming little stone church in the village of El Serrat along the Ruta del Ferro. The garden surrounding the church is a good place to rest if you need it.

Beautiful church that is in the middle of this town called el Serrat and that shows us an old church typical of this area of the Pyrenees. From this point, a set of routes appear that follow the same Tristania river in a south or north direction.

The Soulcem pond is a reservoir designed in the 1980s on a former plateau dedicated to pastoralism. Today it is the meeting point of many hiking trails that connect France and Spain. The place is worth a short break to enjoy the view of the Vicdessos valley.

Past the Pla de Soulcem dam, you come across the Soulcem stream and its superb valley. The road ends there. If you want to continue exploring, then you will have to trade in the bike for the hiking boots.
