Very pretty village

On the Cucuruzzu-Capula archaeological site trail. Easy, well-shaded hike, mostly in the forest. Admission is €4 per adult.

Beautiful eroded granite rocks in the heart of the forest.

Located at the entrance to the village of Quenza, the Romanesque Santa-Maria chapel is the oldest in Corsica. It dates from the 10th century and was undoubtedly enlarged in the 12th century. Inside it has some frescoes dating from the 15th century.

The Castellu di Cucuruzzu is the most important archaeological site in Corsica. Nestled at 700 meters above sea level, it dates back to the Bronze Age. It is possible to visit it for €4.

The pretty little mountain village of Levie is located at the crossroads of several hiking trails. This historic village was one of the first liberated from the Nazi occupiers. There is also the Alta Rocca Museum and the archaeological sites of Cucuruzzu and Capula.
