Nice, could be a little better maintained

We're pretty disappointed with this loop. You can't call a loop that's 90% on tarmac a hike. Trail lovers, stay away. However, it's true that the views are magnificent.

As already mentioned, the bridge has been destroyed and closed since a flood two years ago. But it is easily passable for those with little experience, at their own risk, of course. Simply walk down the broken structure on the south side like a staircase.

The bridge is not passable (or only for the brave). However, you can cross the stream in some places (in your underwear). Otherwise, it's a great picnic and swimming spot.

Great bathing spot at the end of May 2024! The bridge is currently not passable and the municipality is redirecting the path (access ban). However, if you can cross the river, there is no need for a redirection.

The Lac de Calacuccia was created by damming the Golo. It is about 793m high and you can do numerous hikes around the lake. After the Studamm, the Golo runs through the beautiful Regina Gorge.

We stopped here on a Sunday lunchtime in early July based on the good google reviews. The burgers were delicious, if not one of the best we've had. Tasty meat with the best consistency and doneness. The sauces and the cheese are a poem :) The house fries are also delicious. €11 for the burger and €3.50 for the fries are totally fine. Everything is kept very simple, typically Corsican. The family helps with serving and clearing away. Great view over the lake and the mountains. Sufficient parking spaces available. Greetings to the team.
