The church is built in Gothic and Romanesque styles, with Baroque interiors. The church's floor plan is unusual. The stepped tower indicates the varying heights of the scaffolding. Tours are only possible by appointment with the priest, although I don't know if they accommodate individual visitors; we were a group of 20. In any case, the priest had a very entertaining story to tell, including in German. He regrets that he so rarely has the opportunity to speak German. The church contains a chapel with the Holy Stairs. The Holy Stairs were modeled on the Lateran in Rome. In Poland, only Kraków still has a Holy Stairs. The stairs were created on the initiative of Countess Józefa von Wurtz und Burg, whose tomb is located beneath the stairs.

This forest here, to which Matematyczna Street from Ratyń leads, is a beautiful and peaceful spruce forest, where comfortable paths, great for easy walks, are intersected many times by small rivers. A nice place.

Here stands an old mill, or rather its interesting ruin. It turns out that as early as 1271 there were records of Arnold's mill from Legnica. This is where the later name of this village comes from, Arnoldsmühle (Arnold's Mill). The mill was destroyed in 1945.

The mill on the Bystrzyca River, from which the village took its name, was mentioned already in 1271. In 1353, there was a farm here, and the mill was expanded (it had two wheels). According to data from 1795, the village was inhabited by 112 people, there was a brewery, a forge and a distillery. The mill was destroyed in 1945, only the ruins have survived to this day, only partially rebuilt.
