Very nice wide beach with many opportunities for sports or just relaxing or stopping off at one of the beach bars

Lovely walking area and cycling here sometimes, but certainly not in the weekend and certainly not when it is beach weather. The quiet paths are fine but access roads are far from nice. Also recommended to go in the fall!

Impressive building with a beautiful history. Personally I find the view from the beach more impressive than from the street.

This sophisticated building, located in a central location, served as a spa from 1885 to 1969, where guests' spacious bathtubs were primarily intended to relieve their rheumatic ailments. Architecturally, it is modeled after a Baroque three-winged complex. Today, the building is managed as a luxury hotel by the Dutch chain Amrath.
