Thank you for the reviews and comments. Unfortunately, we - the operators - have only just seen them. We have tried to keep all information up to date on Google Maps. Including the opening hours. Unfortunately, we have now had to give up this beautiful place for personal reasons. However, the new owners are currently planning to continue the business in the same way (or even better). So I think it will be worth stopping by again from spring/summer 2025 at the latest. The Google Maps entry will also be handed over to the new owners.

A small, beautiful lake in the middle of the forest. Particularly worth seeing in autumn as the different types of trees turn their leaves into wonderfully bright colours.

Unfortunately, the Stafsee also lacks a lot of water.

The "Garden of Reflection", which is located right next to the mill and is open to all, is part of the therapy for the residents/clients of the Eichendorfer Mühle, e.g. through the maintenance of the herb garden, the cultivation of vegetables and field crops as well as the creative design of the garden. For the hikers there is now even a drinks trolley, where you can get drinks for a little rest on the adjacent bench (till of trust). Great idea 👍.

In the area west of the Eichendorfer Mühle there are several springs that have formed a beautiful meadow landscape north of the hiking trail. Of course, the beaver has also made its home here. Two of the rivers cross the road above ground and form a large wet meadow area to the south of the road before they flow into the Stöbber.

Somewhat hidden and a few meters away from the E11 is this NABU information board, which describes the "Art cave district in the Stobbertal" project. Artificial bat caves were installed in the pine forest formerly used for forestry purposes, creating suitable daytime and hibernation quarters for the bats. A total of 11 different artificial cave models were installed, tailored to the needs of the bat species living in the Märkische Schweiz nature park. After all, 15 of the 19 bat species sighted in Brandenburg are said to live here. Since the bat museum in Julianenhof is not far away, this seems to be a useful addition. There you will also find the above-mentioned art caves.
