Great spot to spend an hour or two. Plenty of wildlife to see and the museum has a cafe with rather unique decoration that's worth visiting.

Wardown Park is the jewel in the crown of Luton’s parks with outstanding features, such as the fountain and boating lake, and a rich history. It is one of seven district parks in Luton, providing a green refuge within walking distance of the town centre. The park provides the setting for Wardown Park Museum and offers a wide range of opportunities for formal and informal recreational activities. The historic significance of the park is acknowledged by its inclusion as Grade II on the English Heritage Register of Historic Parks and Gardens, particularly due to the rarity of the combination of Victorian and Edwardian purpose-built design features that make-up the Park.

I second this, and you can admire the undulating landscape while climbing/descending as well.

It was enjoyable to ride up on a gravel bike surrounded by wheat fields and scenic views.

Galley Hill rises to 186m here and provides you with lovely views of the other hills (including Warden Hill to the south of here), the countryside below, and the city of Luton with all of its suburbs.

St. Mary’s Church has a rich and long history, being almost 900 years old. It has been rebuilt and refurbished constantly over the centuries. The Church is one of the largest in Bedfordshire and considered a fine example of medieval architecture. It is the only Grade 1 listed building in Luton. The site of St. Mary’s has been the centre of worship for people in the area for over 1,000 years, and a church was built in about 930 AD by King Athelstan as an act of thanksgiving for victory over the Danes. The land here was owned by the king in Saxon and early Norman times and the church was very richly endowed.
