프레이케스톨렌 베이스캠프에는 하이킹 전후에 필요한 모든 것이 있습니다: 화장실, 카페, 상점이 바로 그곳에 있습니다. 상점에서는 기념품과 일반적인 관광 상품 외에도 하이킹 장비를 찾을 수 있습니다. 적절한 신발이 없는 경우 하이킹 신발을 빌릴 수도 있습니다. 베이스캠프 바로 아래 피오르드 바로 옆에는 물에서 주변을 탐험할 수 있는 기회도 있습니다. 이를 위해 스탠드업 패들 또는 카약을 빌려 피오르드에서 한 바퀴 돌 수 있습니다.

Mosvatnet is a shallow lake located just west of Stavanger city center, acting as a green oasis in the urban area. It is widely known for its rich birdlife, making it an interesting spot for birdwatching while you circle the water. The surrounding park connects directly to the Vålandsskogen forest and the Stavanger Art Museum.

The trail around Mosvatnet is a popular 3-kilometer loop located just outside Stavanger city center. This flat, gravel path is perfect for an easy walk, a morning run, or a relaxed bike ride. Known locally as "Mosikken," the area is famous for its rich birdlife. You can easily extend your trip into the nearby Vålandsskogen forest or stop by the Stavanger Art Museum along the way.

Located on the western shore of Lake Mosvatnet, the Stavanger Art Museum is a cultural stop easily accessible from the lakeside trail. The building itself is integrated into the surrounding parkland. Inside, you can see a significant collection of Norwegian art. It is a good place to take a break and visit the museum café.

The view encompassing Årosåsen and the coastal landscape presents a contrast between a rolling hillside and the dynamic sea edge. From this perspective, the view highlights the lush, tree-covered slopes of Årosåsen descending toward a mosaic of islands, skerries, and the open sea. It offers a harmonious blend of calm, green nature in the foreground and the sparkling, maritime expanse defining the dramatic, low-lying Norwegian coastline.

The view over the coast at Egersund is characterized by a rugged and dramatically sculpted landscape, typical of the Southwestern Norwegian coast. From the pier, you typically see a wild expanse of bare rock and heathland meeting the intricate coastline of fjords, bays, and open sea. The scene includes the town's distinct red and white wooden houses nestled by the water, contrasting with the powerful, natural beauty of the Skagerrak sea and the harsh, glacially formed terrain.

Sogndalstrand Historic Village is a uniquely preserved cultural heritage site and former outport. It is distinguished by its cluster of beautifully maintained 18th- and 19th-century wooden houses nestled right along the river and the sea, making it the only village in Norway to be officially protected as a cultural monument. This charming area now functions as a vibrant center with accommodations, dining, and shops, offering you a picturesque glimpse into coastal life of a bygone era.

All along this trail that circles the lake, you are close to the shore. But the section that crosses this small wood offers you superb views and quiet spots where you can sit down and enjoy the scenery.
