2월 20, 2025, Albion Square Historic Reserve
Albion Square was the seat of the Nelson Region Provincial Government from the late 1850s to the 1870s. All civic affairs were decided here. Today it is a historic reserve, protected due to the large number of historic remains. The fire station, trout farm and a survey chain test marker are protected as Category 1 historic places due to their outstanding historical significance.

With its historic buildings, a variety of shopping opportunities and art galleries, Nelson is not only an interesting tourist destination, but also the center of the region of the same name. Nelson is considered the birthplace of New Zealand rugby, as the first game on New Zealand soil was played here in 1870.

Great little park with several seats. Great bridges and beautiful flower beds. In the center is a small fountain.

A pedestrian street with great cafes and restaurants. You walk directly to Christ Church Cathedral. Definitely a place to feel good.
