A beautifully designed Christmas trail in the woods. The local associations put a lot of effort into creating each station. The trail is barrier-free and therefore also suitable for strollers and wheelchairs.

The parking lot is located just outside Grosselfingen. It is called either "Parkplatz Spielwiese" or "Parkplatz Umlauf".

Today, one could at least get a glimpse of the view. But fog was the dominant element today.

A lovely cabin on the edge of the forest. Unfortunately, there was no food or drink available on Boxing Day. It would have been a good time for the Swiss Alpine Club (SAV) to visit today.

The Forest Christmas Trail is open daily from November 30, 2025 to January 6, 2026. It is approximately 2.5 km long, starting from the forest parking area. From December 14, 2025 to January 4, 2026, the shelter will be open from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

At the end of the Christmas Forest Trail, just before the forest parking area, this bench stands by the hiking trail. From here, you have a great view across the fields to Hohenzollern Castle.
