Etzenberg is a hill in Hülben, Reutlingen district, Baden-Württemberg and has an altitude of 732 metres

The circular trail leads directly to the historical sites and is equipped with information panels and interactive information boards. The Heidengraben adventure center is now also located here and the new observation tower is nearby.

The coots are still there and can be easily observed. However, the large Kaltentalweiher pond is almost completely covered in silt. There are a few benches here, but now in May they are almost completely taken over by nettles. Next to the benches is a memorial stone commemorating Siegfried Palmer (1929-2018), former forestry director in Bad Urach from 1963 to 1976.

I guess the reason it is not drinkable is because fertilizer from farming gets into the groundwater.
