The Ottomar-von-Reden-Park[1] in Gehrden, Hanover Region, also known simply as Von-Reden-Park,[2] is a listed green space with some centuries-old trees. The historic park, whose origins date back to the 16th century, is dotted with numerous old, solitary trees.[1] Open year-round,[3] the park at the corner of Franzburger Straße and Parkstraße, together with the old estate wall[2] and the rare trees and shrubs, forms a unique arboretum,[1] intended to serve visitors' recreation, culture, and the experience of nature.

Unfortunately, the information boards have disappeared, but the bench at this spot still offers good entertainment: many cyclists pass by here and every now and then a horse.

The adjacent viewing terrace is freely accessible and beautiful.

Nice view, but the path is quite narrow, so be careful of oncoming traffic.

Good parking, was very empty on a Saturday.

In spring, before all the undergrowth comes up, the hills are clearly visible.
