A beautiful cave with an exhibition space and a café at the exit. There are also playgrounds on site. The tour was really great, and the guide, Sascha, was super nice and funny. Of course, the cave's origins and the formation of the stalactites were explained in detail. Afterwards, there was a fantastic laser show in the cave. The price was also completely reasonable. It's definitely worth a visit.

A wonderful park with winding paths. There's something to discover everywhere. Ever climbed a volcano? There are various snack options nearby. Very clean and well-maintained.

The park was laid out in 1890 as an English landscape park. It covers approximately 12 hectares. The trees consist primarily of freestanding native trees such as maple, oak, beech, alder, and birch. The willow pond is located in the middle of the Syrau-Kauschwitz Heath nature reserve. Surrounded by pine and birch trees, the idyllic body of water provides a habitat for numerous animal and plant species. The reed-covered banks in particular serve as an important refuge for amphibians, insects and water and migratory birds. Various species of ducks such as the shoveler, wigeon, teal, pintail and pochard find a protective resting place here in the autumn on their way south.

The Syrau-Kauschwitz Heath is a nature reserve in Saxony covering around 187 hectares. The species-rich heathland has been protected since 1999. Until reunification, the area was used as a military training area. The beautiful area not far from the Dragon's Cave is ideal for long family walks. The landscape is at its most beautiful in late summer when the heath is in bloom.

Unfortunately, the restaurant and everything around it is a thing of the past.
